About NIT Meghalaya Summer Internship Program
The main objective of this programme is to encourage the bright and well-motivated students of different institutions to pursue an innovative research and development project work under the guidance of faculty members of NIT Meghalaya.
The internship program is available for these departments: Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science & Engineering (CS), Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Chemical & Biological Sciences (CBS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH), and Humanities & Social Sciences (H.S).
NIT Meghalaya Summer Internship Program Eligibility Criteria
To become an intern at NIT Meghalaya, a candidate must meet the following criteria:-
- B.Tech:- Completed six semesters in the relevant disciplines of engineering
- M.Tech:- Completed two semesters in the relevant disciplines of engineering
- M.Sc:- Completed first year in any of the following disciplines: Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/ Humanities & Social Sciences
NIT Meghalaya Summer Internship Program Duration
The NIT Meghalaya Summer internship program is for a period of 5 weeks (between 15 June and 18 July 2026).
How to Apply to the NIT Meghalaya Summer Internship Program!
Candidates who are interested in applying for the NIT Meghalaya summer Internship program must submit a scanned copy of the duly filled application form via email to internship.cell@nitm.ac.in by 25th May 2026.

NIT Meghalaya Summer Internship Program Selection Process
Applications will be selected on the recommendation of the selection committees of their respective departments at NIT Meghalaya. NIT Meghalaya reserves the right to accept or reject any application without giving any reason.
The list of shortlisted candidates for the summer internship program will be published on the institute’s website by June 3, 2026. There will be no postal communication in this regard.
NIT Meghalaya Summer Internship Program Caution Money & Other
The candidates who are selected for the internship program must deposit an advance amount of Rs. 8500 and other charges given below:-
